In order to adapt to the situation of rapid development of domestic and foreign markets and catch up with the international advanced level, some domestic companies have introduced new equipment and applied new technology in recent years. The production scale is not large. At the same time, the product quality and production efficiency have been greatly improved, while the production cost has been declining.
1. Pelletizing and automatic cold pressing technology.
At present, the domestic wire saw manufacturers generally use non-granulated powder for manual cold-pressed bead production, low production efficiency, product quality is susceptible to human factors, and the working environment dust, is not conducive to human health.
In view of the shortcomings of cold pressing with non-granulated powder, a domestic company first applied the powder granulation process and its supporting equipment to production practice. Powder granulation process is to add powder into the container by the agitator and cutting knife high-speed rotation and spray atomizing solvent to form powder particles, 20 minutes can complete 10 kg powder granulation, granulation powder after drying, screening, made into 30-80 mesh spherical particles, molding rate is more than 85%. The powder produced by this method has better fluidity. After the diamond is coated and mixed with granulated powder, the distribution of diamond on the working lip surface is more uniform. The coated diamond surface is coated with powder, which avoids direct contact with the die surface during the pressing process and reduces the die loss.
With the powder granulation technology and diamond coating technology, some domestic companies have imported automatic cold compressors made abroad to produce beads. This equipment is based on the volume method (the amount of fixed powder) from charging to the matrix and matrix together with cold forming, high degree of automation, saving manpower, thus greatly improving production efficiency. The production cost is reduced.
2. Hot isostatic pressing technology
Diamond bead sintering is an important part of wire saw production, which directly affects the sawing performance of wire saw. Bead string is a thin-walled structure of cylinder, which requires high sintering density. Owing to the thin wall of upper and lower pressure heads and poor compressive capacity, the usual hot-pressing sintering method directly limits the sintering density of bead string, and the pressure head loss is large and the cost is high. The traditional method of cold pressing followed by non-pressure sintering has lower sintering density of beads, which seriously affects the performance of wire saw. At present, the most effective sintering method is to use hot isostatic pressing (HIP) technology. The application in bead string production is to place the sintered beads in the glass jacket (some enterprises do not put the glass jacket directly into the hot isostatic pressing sintering furnace), into the hot isostatic pressing machine, with the inert gas Ar as the pressure transfer medium, the temperature rises to 800 degrees C~9. 00 degree C was subjected to isostatic pressing, and then the glass sleeve was removed by roller treatment or shot peening. The beads produced by this technology have fewer pores and higher density, which can improve the hardness, strength, wear resistance and working life of beads, as well as the bonding strength between matrix and matrix.
